Introduction

Allied Fire Protection have been installing fire detection systems since 1996. We offer a wide range of services to our Customers from Installations, Modifications & Commissioning of Fire Protection Equipment to mandatory Servicing & Issue of Annual Certificates. This work is carried out by our own trained and experienced Engineers.

The following terms and conditions cover the way we like to do business. This information will help our customers to understand our ‘rules of engagement’ allowing for a good, strong working relationship going forward.

Access to this web site is conditional upon your acceptance of and compliance with the terms, conditions, notices and disclaimers contained in this document (known as "Terms and Conditions"). Your use of, and/or access to, the site constitutes your agreement to the Terms and Conditions.

Allied Fire Protection reserves the right to amend the Terms and Conditions at any time. Since you are bound by these Terms and Conditions, you should periodically refer to them in this document and elsewhere on the site.

All information, text, material, graphics and advertisements on the Site ("Content") are Copyright ©Allied Fire Protection its suppliers and/or licensors unless expressly indicated otherwise on the Site.

These linked web sites are not under the control of Allied Fire Protection, and Allied Fire Protection is not responsible for the contents of any linked web site or any hyperlink contained in a linked web site. Limitation of Liability

Under no circumstances (including but not limited to any act or omission on the part of Allied Fire Protection) will Allied Fire Protection be liable for any indirect, incidental, special and/or consequential damages or loss of profits whatsoever which result from any use or access of, or any inability to use or access, the Site or any Content. You expressly acknowledge and agree that Allied Fire Protection does not exert control over users of the Site (including individuals referred to on the Site as guests and experts) and is not liable either for their opinions or their behaviour including any information and/or advice and any defamatory statements or offensive conduct.

Payments

You are liable for all transactions carried out by you or by anyone carrying out a transaction with your authority or express or implied consent, regardless of when the transaction is processed to your account.

You should check your statements and records carefully. If you believe a transaction is wrong or unauthorised you should contact us immediately.

Website Availability

We will make all reasonable effort to ensure that the Site is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. However, electronic services are subject to interruption or breakdown. Therefore, access to our web site is offered on an "as is" and "as available" basis only.

Other

This agreement will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. If any provision of this agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of law, such invalidity or unenforceability will not affect the remainder of the agreement, which will continue in full force and effect.

Quotations

Are an invitation to treat and valid for 30 days from date of issue. The buyer must communicate acceptance in writing within the 30 days. If there is no acceptance within 30 days Allied Fire may review the pricing and terms of a quotation.

Civil Works Exclusions

Unless expressly stated otherwise within the quotation specification, the price is exclusive of civil works, duct work, cable containment etc.

Readyness for Commissioning

Planned Commissioning Works assume that the site is ready for Commissioning on a pre-determined day and that our Commissioning Engineer has free access to equipment to complete his work on the day planned. Return visit(s) to site are excluded from Quotations unless specifically stated otherwise they will be noted within the quotation. Return visits will be charged for at the prevailing hourly rate plus travel.

Handover Documentation - 95% of Contract Price Paid

Where Handover Documentation has been specified, Allied Fire are not obliged to provide Handover Documentation & Commissioning Certificates until 95% of the contract price has been paid.

Third Party Works Excluded

Third Party works not covered within our quotation.

Price

Unless stated otherwise all prices are in Euro and are exclusive of VAT.

Payment Terms

  • Non-Account Holders: Full Payment shall be made on completion of work
  • If you are an account holder, payment is due within 30 days
    Allied Fire reserve the right to invoice delivery of equipment separately in advance of installation
  • Terms beyond 30 days are by written contractual agreement only
  • Interest will be charged on unapproved debt

Transfer of Ownership

Ownership of Goods is not transferred until all outstanding balances are cleared.

Warranty

We provide a 1year warranty for goods and workmanship supplied by Allied Fire. This excludes third party installations, so where we have carried out 2nd fix, it is the 2nd fix equipment we will warranty, and not the first fix installation.

Servicing of Equipment

During the warranty period you are obliged under Law to get the Fire Alarm System serviced every quarter whether the premises is occupied or not. Please see our additional guide to Service Contracts.
